Advances in Geo-Environmental Engineering

The following advances in the Geoenvironmental Engineering and Geohazards mitigation will be discussed in association with the research supported by the National Science Foundation of the United States:
–Non-intrusive site investigation methods and monitoring.
–Multilevel process and Integrated systems. Smart-networked sensors.
–Larger role of uncertainty and modeling of problem as stochastic phenomena.
–Improved experimental and numerical simulation methods.
–Multi-scale monitoring systems.
–New technologies for modification of “Natural” & “Built” Environment.
