Research Interests

Reliability-based Design Optimization
Developed an algorithm for system reliability-based design and topology optimization (SRBDO & SRBTO) based on the single loop method and matrix-based system reliability (MSR) method.
Multiresolution Topology Optimization
Developed a large-scale muitiresolution topology optimization algorithm to obtain high resolution with relatively low computational cost.
Probabilistic Fracture Assessment
Evaluation of probability of failure of functionally graded materials (FGMs) using the interaction integral method and first-order reliability method (FORM).
