The aim of the proposed mini-symposium is to bring together peoples
working on the multi-functional cellular materials with graded pore
density (metal foam, hollow sphere assembly etc.) to discuss following
aspects:
1: The design of such material in order to comply with different
(often contradictory) functional requirement.
2: The experimental method and numerical analysis which allows an
accurate property characterisation and better understanding of such
materials.
3: The manufacturing and application potential of such materials. |
