materials on a microscopic basis. Multi-scale and computational
issues could be addressed as well as probabilistic methods to predict
the response of functionally tailored structures to extreme thermo-acoustic
environments. Other topics include modeling the effect of residual
stresses, crack initiation, failure mechanisms and fatigue. |
