Nandkumar The TeraGrid and Scalable Computational Science Research at NCSA This talk will focus on the
cyberinfrastructure provided by the U.S. National Science Foundation
(NSF) TeraGrid in its current state and envisioned future, and on the
roles of the National Computational Science Alliance (Alliance) and
the National Center for Supercomputing Applications (NCSA). The Alliance,
with NCSA as its leading edge site, is one of the two partnerships supported
by the NSF's Partnership for Advanced Computational Infrastructure program.
The high performance computing environment, the associated technological
infrastructure, and the large-scale applications in science and engineering,
particularly computational science research that exploit these technologies,
will be discussed briefly.
